MONITRR CASE STUDY: Onboarding a national network of approved repair centres

LV= General Insurance is a leading motor insurer in the UK with a nationwide network of owned and independent auto repair centres.

LV= wanted to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the inhouse audit team who ensure the network is fully compliant with LV= standards and best practices relating to the quality of vehicle repairs.  Retaining full management control and flexibility in managing the network was important to LV=, together with supplier ease of use.

A primary objective of LV= was to onboard nearly two-hundred suppliers quickly and hassle-free.

Our Approach

We worked with LV= to critique and build their existing compliance standards – enabling them to be used for supplier self-assessment and by the Audit team in performing remote and onsite audits.  Using our onboarding templates, we quickly uploaded supplier details and standards.  A short pilot exercise revealed opportunities to fine-tune the auditing process, network performance dashboards and supplier groupings to mirror the information requirements of senior management.

The Outcome

The whole network was onboarded onto LV.monitrr.com, inclusive of quality checks, branded user guides, network communications and a new 360-degree auditing process in less than a week.

Network compliance has risen, LV= auditors use MONITRR extensively and suppliers are fully engaged with the new and better way of demonstrating their compliance.

LV= is now used across the LV= Group.

“…Worthy of mention is the ease that LV= started using MONITRR.  Simple Microsoft Excel spreadsheet uploads with helpful guidance on refining our existing standards, was all that was required.  OUTSORC planned and executed the process with no issues/problems…. we have no hesitation in recommending MONITRR to those who want to use a ‘next generation’ network management solution…”
